Data is all around us these days and it seems like every industry has literally fallen in love with it. Data science uses scientific processes, algorithms, and systems to analyze and extract insights from data. During this event, we’re going to discuss what exactly that means and provide several illustrations of what “DataScience” really looks like. Jamarc Hurd will provide a visual exhibit in the Steelcase “Team Room” to begin the night. Dr. Korin Reid – principal data scientist for Craneware and long-time member of our community – will provide our feature presentation in the main auditorium.
