August 13th: Coding While Black

We’re back! But of course we never left. It has been a while though since we had a good old-fashioned Coding While Black. It’s time to get back at it…collaborating, building, innovating and growing together.

On Thursday we’ll get started with a lighting talk by Kelli Jackson on the all important soft skills we need to be successful in the tech industry. There are aspects of job searching and operating in the corporate environment unique to our community that we MUST know. And we’re here to put you on game. Let’s get it!

*** About CWB ***

The Coding While Black event is all about building and collaboration.
Virtually join your fellow nerds for a lightning talk, coding challenges, and games.

Join (enter the waiting room) at 6:20pm and we’ll start promptly at 6:30.

We will have a Lightning Talk where a technology professional will give us insight into their job role and participates in a short Q&A.

Then, we will have our code challenges. We’ll use breakout rooms to split into teams to solve a few coding problems.

All skill levels are welcome.
